Situated a few miles from the mainland, Silver Island has been home to the Christie family for 55 years and now opens its doors to those seeking inner peace and an escape from modern life's hustle and bustle.

Location

Silver Island is 60 acres of gently rolling hills, small idyllic coves, ancient olive groves, cypress trees, and wildflowers, all surrounded by the crystal blue Mediterranean with glorious views in every direction. The island features traditional Greek homes, a church, and a lighthouse, making it a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

Accommodation

Silver Island Yoga is a small and exclusive retreat accommodating up to 10 guests in five beautifully decorated rooms. The accommodation consists of two beautifully renovated, traditional whitewashed, blue-shuttered houses - the Main House and the Villa.

Eco-Friendly Retreat

Silver Island Yoga is completely off the grid, offering a complete eco-retreat experience. The island uses solar power for lighting and heating water, which is collected and filtered from winter rainfall. Locally produced, 100% natural and biodegradable toiletries are provided, and water is recycled for garden use. The island also features an organic olive farm and supports local community development.

Yoga and Activities

During the day, the pebbled beaches, hidden coves, and miles of pathways offer a chance for guests to spend time alone in quiet reflection between the two-hour dawn and sunset yoga classes. The retreat invites the most beautiful teachers whose ethos reflects the island's spirit.
