The cabins have cable service and satellite internet, with access to water through the mechanical extraction as needed. Electricity is provided to all facilities through a gasoline generator. A solid iron pier is currently under construction on the island.

Isla Los Conejos lies within the town of Chaitén, which neighbors the very tourist-popular towns of Futaleufú and Palena. Much of the nature surrounding Yelcho Lake is part of the Pumalin National Park, which houses and protects the region’s flora and fauna, including native forest with 3,000-year-old endangered trees, as well as animal species like pumas, monitos del monte, pudus, condors, and other protected species. Nearby too is the famed Futaleufú River, one of the world’s premiere whitewater rafting rivers, offering four distinct sections of world-class rafting at varying difficulties.
