Location

Located on Dhigufinolhu Island in the South Malé Atoll, Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort comprises some of the most spacious luxury villas in the Maldives, some with private plunge pools, just a 35-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. From the moment you arrive, peer into the crystal waters below the jetty at pufferfish, stingrays, and baby reef sharks. Access/Airport Transfer

The nation’s main airport, Ibrahim Nasir International, is well connected with major hubs around the world. Located on a separate island from the capital of Male, the airport serves as the main gateway into the Maldives for tourists. From here, speedboats and seaplanes transfer guests directly to the resorts. The airport is small but well-equipped with souvenir and duty-free shops, restaurants, medical facilities, prayer room, banking, and postal services. The resort is located 21 kilometers south of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. Our airport representative will greet you upon customs clearance to guide you to our lounge for further speedboat transfer.

Climate

The Maldives enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate with temperatures ranging between 23°C and 32°C. Two distinct seasons are experienced: intermittent rain showers between May and October, followed by the dry season from November to April.
